{"id":2035,"date":"2011-07-18T08:36:11","date_gmt":"2011-07-18T15:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.summerhillhomes.com\/?p=2035"},"modified":"2023-04-29T23:43:24","modified_gmt":"2023-04-30T06:43:24","slug":"what-do-you-take-for-granted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.summerhillhomes.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/18\/what-do-you-take-for-granted\/","title":{"rendered":"What do you take for granted?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Love the inspiring questions that have been coming from <a href=\"https:\/\/letsblogoff.com\/\">Let&#8217;s Blog Off<\/a> and this week is no exception with <a href=\"https:\/\/letsblogoff.com\/what-do-you-take-for-granted.html\">What do you take for granted?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although I certainly take for granted power to our house for lights, fresh drinking water, and the beautiful community pool literally just a few steps out our doorstep, I think the thing that I take for granted most is how accessible this area is to all sorts of fun activities.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>3 hours to snow in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tahoe.com\/\">Tahoe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>1.5 hours to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winecountry.com\/\">Wine Country<\/a> (depending on where you live in Bay Area)<\/p>\n<p>30 minutes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgov.org\/index.asp\">San Francisco<\/a><\/p>\n<p>30 minutes to the Beach (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.half-moon-bay.ca.us\/\">Half Moon Bay<\/a> or a little longer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofsantacruz.com\/\">Santa Cruz<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bahiker.com\/\">Countless hiking trails<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Top universities like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stanford.edu\/\">Stanford<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/berkeley.edu\/\">Berkeley<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usfca.edu\/\">USF <\/a>and more<\/p>\n<p>Great public libraries&nbsp;and on the Peninsula<\/p>\n<p>Two baseball and two football teams for sporting fun<\/p>\n<p>and the list goes on&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/letsblogoff.com\/images\/letsblogoff_badge.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Love the inspiring questions that have been coming from Let&#8217;s Blog Off and this week is no exception with What do you take for granted?
