WalletHub<\/a> recently published its list of the healthiest housing markets of 2015 so far and it’s pretty encouraging!<\/p>\n

The insurance company Nationwide has been tracking the health of the housing industry on a quarterly basis, and at the beginning of the year reported that \u201cthe overall housing market is healthier than at any time since 2001\u201d and is optimistic that the chances of a downturn in the future are slim.<\/p>\n

Other positive indicators included the drop in unemployment (down to a seven-year low of 5.3%), increasing rent and consumer confidence that \u201cmight encourage lenders to open the doors to more first-time home buyers.\u201d<\/p>\n
