The weather has certainly been hard to miss this week and with the lows reaching the low 30s (yes that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fahrenheit, not Celsius).\u00c2  We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re shocked at this cold spell and the snow that we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve seen in the surrounding local mountains.\u00c2  It has looked a bit like driving to Tahoe on the drive to our San Ramon office this week.\u00c2  Today the snow had melted a bit on Mt. Diablo, but it was still there.<\/p>\n

Our new homeowners are probably feeling a little more grateful for the energy efficiencies in their homes this week.\u00c2  With homes built to high standards for energy efficiency, the new SummerHill homes<\/a> promise lower bills from PG&E. My co-worker mentioned this week that her energy bill has been over $200 to keep their home warm, while the highest the highest that ours has been since is $140 – that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s running both the heater and the gas fireplace.\u00c2  Oh, in case you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know, I live in a townhome built by SummerHill that we bought 5 years ago.\u00c2 \u00c2  Over $60 per month amounts to at least $720 per year and that is a huge savings!\u00c2  What could you do with an extra $720 per year?<\/p>\n

And, as mentioned in the title, the heat is still on at Park Station<\/a>.\u00c2  We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve sold more condos since our last community countdown update<\/a>.\u00c2  We are now down to the last 3 condos at Park Station in South San Francisco \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 1 market rate and 2 below market rate homes.\u00c2  So if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been waiting for the right time to buy at Park Station, you really can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t wait much longer or the time will have passed.<\/p>\n

The heat has also been felt at Satake Estates in Mountain View<\/a> and Rosewood in Fremont<\/a> with incredible sales recently.\u00c2  There is just one home at Rosewood until the next release, which will be the last release at Rosewood!\u00c2  Satake Estates has continued to experience sales success.\u00c2  And, who can resist an incredible location, great schools and stunning homes?\u00c2  It is such a rare combination to find in a new home.<\/p>\n

And the activity has been picking up at Merimont <\/a>with just reduced prices on select\u00c2 new homes ready for move-in – these are priced to sell. \u00c2 If you want to choose your flooring and countertops, Merimont also has a new release of homes, but you’ll\u00c2 to act quickly as the time is running out to select the finishes on the newest release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
