WalletHub recently published its list of the healthiest housing markets of 2015 so far and it’s pretty encouraging!
The insurance company Nationwide has been tracking the health of the housing industry on a quarterly basis, and at the beginning of the year reported that “the overall housing market is healthier than at any time since 2001” and is optimistic that the chances of a downturn in the future are slim.
Other positive indicators included the drop in unemployment (down to a seven-year low of 5.3%), increasing rent and consumer confidence that “might encourage lenders to open the doors to more first-time home buyers.”
